Lineage

Monica Gauci & Gregor Maehle have been my teachers since 2019, and their guidance has shaped both my practice and teaching in many ways. I have trained, and assisted them over the years and I keep studying and working with them as often as possible.

What inspires me deeply in their teaching is the precision and clarity they bring to every aspect of the practice—whether āsana, prāṇāyāma, meditation, philosophy, or anatomy. During the past years, their caring presence and guidance have been as meaningful and supportive as their teachings. Find out more about them here !

I began practicing with Petri Räisänen in 2012, and he was one of the first international teachers I had the opportunity to practice with.

From him, I learned how to offer hands-on adjustments that are gentle, receptive, and truly supportive. I also learned simply by being in a shala with him—observing his grounded presence and the way he holds space. Much of this learning grew through the time I spent assisting him in international workshops across Europe between 2022 and 2025. Find out more about him here !

I began studying and practicing with David Garrigues in 2020, during the Covid period. His teaching profoundly transformed my vision and understanding of my own āsana practice and somehow shaped the way I teach now.

David is a poetic, enthusiastic, committed and highly inspiring teacher. His approach to Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga is refreshingly original ! From him, I learned to be creative with/in the practice— to find freedom within the structure of the Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga system through mindful and smart compromises.
